About Chaz

Hello! I am Chaz Baca, born and raised in Mesa, Arizona, currently residing in Stanhope, Iowa. As the owner and driver, I lead the dedicated race team of the #75jr IMCA Modified. Take a few moments and learn more about my team who has been driven with passion from the very beginning!

Racing has been a part of my life since the day I was born. My father raced Street Stocks and Modifieds in his day and even served as a flagman at several racetracks. Growing up, I was always at the track, so racing quickly became a way of life, and getting behind the wheel was inevitable.
At just 9 years old, I attended a dirt go-kart race with a friend and his family. As I spent the night watching him race I realized that it was something I wanted to do. That night when I got home I told my parents I wanted to race. Not long after, we purchased my first go-kart. I entered my very first race with the Arizona Karting Association on their 1/5 mile dirt oval during their biggest event of the year, the prestigious Holiday Classic.

Over the years, there have been many people that have helped the team succeed including Mom, Dad, family members, supportive friends, and business partners. We've also added a new team manager, Taylor (Girlfriend), who brings constant support and dedication that means everything to this team. This small but determined team has steadily climbed through the ranks of dirt track racing. We've worked hard to win in every division we've competed in, always striving to be the best.

The heart and soul of Chaz Baca Racing has always been family. Our passion for the sport has made racing our way of life, not just a hobby. It holds us together and pushes us to achieve more.

Family is number one, but there's nothing else I would rather be doing than enjoying the fun and the adrenaline rush of racing. I thrive on the excitement and challenge that each race and race car brings, and I'm driven by the support of our amazing fans. Every time I hit the track, my goal is to put on the best show possible for those who continue to cheer us on.
